Pippita Bennett works with thrifted textiles which she over dyes with plants gathered from her home and the landscapes she visits. She studied art at the University of Sydney’s Tin Sheds and has had solo exhibitions at the Corner Store Gallery and Scratch Art Space. Pippita has been a finalist in the Fisher Ghost, Blacktown, Stanthorpe and Regional Landscape art prizes.

This piece glimpse of the morning light on the fields in front of Bendoura’s tree lined Brick Kiln Creek with the backdrop of the hills of Tallanganda.
